As temperatures warm up we tend to show more skin, so it warrants a special skin care regimen. One that hydrates and keeps the skin clean and grime-free ready for the hot summer months ahead.  By implementing a well thought-out skin care regimen you can create a protective barrier, reducing the impact of changes in temperature and environmental stressors – such as air conditioning.


The following are five tips on making sure you focus on your skin care and wellbeing:


  1. Clean

It’s important to regularly use a gentle facial cleanser, to remove the build-up of dirt that collects on the skin. Cleansing prevents the pores blocking and improves hydration in preparation of applying a moisturiser.


Begin with clean damp hands and a dry face. Pour a small amount of Face Cleanser into the palm of your hand and lather. Massage over your face and neck, then rinse off with warm water and towel dry gently.

  1. Moisturise

Remember in the summer months to up your level of skin hydration. After cleansing your skin, a nourishing, daily moisturising cream should be applied.


Ideally, you should moisturise morning and night. This will help to keep your skin hydrated and provide a barrier against a harsh climate or the effects of moving around an air-conditioned environment.
